Today in the morning as usual at around 5.50 I was awaiting at the bus stop and saw a old man in his 60's wrapped in a 2 meter long rag. As I was looking at him he walked down to the nearby coffee shop for want of a cup of coffee and the Coffee shop owner came out and made him go away from the shop the way he would have otherwise had a Dog or a Cow go away from outside his shop.
As he was dejected and walking I handed him over Ten Rupees (Indian) using which one can buy a pack of biscuits and a cup of Coffee.
As he walked back to different coffee shop and showed them that he had money to buy Coffee but the shop owner refused to sell Coffee to him.
I felt what wont help him was 10 Rupees but a cup of Coffee and biscuits. Because we have our priorities to reach our work place and get started with our day we can really do nothing more then feeling pity for the person.
Think about our lives, we have much more then what he had. We have money to buy basic things that we need and we feel bad about not being able to get a second car or a 40" Television for our home.

What makes me a Leader?
After a long time I got a chance to get back home, connect my Laptop and start thinking what I want to do. I want to put down my thoughts on what I think and most of the people around think is leadership.
I work for a Multinational and am part of leadership team. As a leader I manage a team which consists of aspiring people like me. Everyone with Energies to deliver and innovate.
Whenever I meet the teams I worked with earlier they always compliment that the times we worked as a team were the Golden Period of the teams.
I just started Introspecting into what makes me a good leader and decided to ask some questions to those who worked with me in the last 2 years. As I started thinking more in depth I am getting into details like if I should do a Quantitative assessment or Qualitative Assessment. Should I limit to only my Direct Teams or include more people like my peers, colleagues, Superiors in the organization.
I have decided to put up a questioner to assess my selves on both Quantitative and Qualitative factors.
It’s a good idea for you also to do the same today.
